Carpets

A worn, soiled carpet makes your vehicle look shabby before its time. When you are thinking about carpet replacement you may have several choices.

Replacement carpets are normally available from both the car's manufacturer (the dealer) and from outside sources. A carpet obtained from the dealer will exactly match the color, pile, texture and "molded form" of the original equipment carpet. Dealer carpets are the best quality, but more expensive than other choices and generally not available for vehicles older than 10 years.

"Molded form" carpets are also available from several outside manufacturers - in a wide-variety of colors - for many recent model cars, trucks and vans. Like dealer carpets, these carpets are specially made to match the contours of your car's floor and present a seamless appearance. They are less expensive than dealer carpets. However, our experience is that they don't fit as well as dealer carpets, and their color, pile and texture may not be a good match to the original. Also, these molded carpets are not available in finer grades of carpet materials.
